I started using ConvertKit a few years ago after I saw a presentation on a blogging summit. I was pretty impressed by all the things I could do that I could NOT do in other email management systems. I wanted to be able to have multiple forms, lead magnets, and optins for my different subject areas, businesses, etc. I wanted to be able to have someone join my list and have a bunch of follow up stops happen automatically.

ConvertKit has a lot of bells and whistles, but it can also be very simple as well. And their customer support is great.
